Weird Science - Before

Weird Science

Recently I found out about a plugin called Fractalius and thought today would be a good day to try it on some photos. Fractalius is the plugin that is used to create the cool “light effects” you see on some photos around the internet.

For the “After” photo, I created a mask and brushed out some of the lights so that it looked like the flower was generating some energy streams as it touched the water.

  1. Thanks for stopping by my blog! So happy you did because it’s led me to your amazing photography! I love close ups and yours are just yummy. And thanks also for leading me to this plugin. I’m not familiar with plugins and how to use them though. Is it something you add to your WordPress blog? I’ll have to google it later. Thanks so much for the fun!

    • Josette, thank you for the sweet comment. 🙂 As for the plugin – it works with any (Windows) photo editing program that will let you use Photoshop plugins (Photoshop Elements, Photo Paint, Photo Impact and Paint Shop Pro are listed on the product page). If you click on the word Fractalius in my post it will take you to their web page.

Thank you for stopping by. 🙂
