Delicate Balance

Delicate Balance

My favorite flowers to photograph are Day lilies and Peruvian lilies. There’s something about the stamens, and taken with a shallow depth of field, looking like they’re just floating in thin air. With the Peruvian lilies I love how the “head” sits delicately balanced at the end of the stamen, where it is very thin.
