Golden Hour Bokeh

I’ve been planting lots of flowers this year so that I can photograph them. This older bush had pretty much stopped blossoming until I was watering more. Now there are loads of pretty purple flowers all over it. I took my camera out during the golden hour and captured this image. Post processing was done in Lightroom 5.

While playing with a trial version of Corel PaintShop Pro X6 Ultimate I noticed the “kaleidoscope” effect. Using the above photo, and setting the “petals” to “7” I got this…

The only other thing I added in PSP X6 was a “striation” texture.
